The CamachoLab at BYU has been working hard on Simphony, an open-source Python package that, in conjunction with SAX, helps in defining and simulating photonic circuits.
It now has the ability to run simulations with quantum effects and Christian just put together this tutorial on running quantum simulations in Simphony. It gives a brief crash course in quantum optics and runs you through setting up your first simulation. It's perfect for beginners!
